Jimmy A. Carrigan
“Colonel Jimmy A. Carrigan served in Vietnam with the marines from 1963 through 1967. Many of the vets from that conflict were ridiculed and despised when they returned home, but Carrigan remembers his service with pride.
“I surely cannot complain. I try to sometime just to be a part of the crowd, but I shut up in a little it because I had some of the best duty” says Jimmy.
After Vietnam, he decided to pursue a career as a pilot, serving in the Air Force and the Texas Guard, where he shared his knowledge with young pilots.” (1)
