Lee R. Allmann
Lee started as a SAC Nav at Mountain Home, AFB in Idaho where he met his wife Vicki. He then went to USAF Pilot Training in the F-100 with the 522nd TFS at Cannon AFB, NM, followed by a year with the 352nd TFS at Phan Rang in Viet Nam. From there he was stationed with the 79th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Woodbridge (Suffolk County, England) also flying the F-100. He later flew the F-111 (still with the 79th TFS) at Upper Heyford Air Base in Oxfordshire, England.
Lee’s memories were flying, “Nuclear Alert” parties, and “Tiger Days” gatherings of fighter pilots from many nations.
