Harry Igor Axakowsky flew the F-100 from 1961-1962 with the 612th Tactical Fighter Squadron/401st Tactical Fighter Wing out of England AFB, LA; from 1962-1969 531st Tactical Fighter Squadron in Misawa AB, Japan; and from 1969-1972 he flew the F-105 with the 493rd Tactical Fighter Squadron/48th Tactical Fighter Wing, in Lakenheath, England.
