Biography
Pilot Information

Ron Bewley served in the USAF from Aug 1961 – Sep 1987 (26 years 2 months). In August 1981, he became a Professor of Aviation Development at Purdue University. There he helped to develop a type-rating program that would allow students to become certified 727 pilots using the university’s Boeing 727-200 Level C flight simulator. He continued in that job until October 1997.

In 1997 he became an Instructor Pilot/Check Airman at America Trans Air. He continued there until 2008.
