Tom Brandon won the “Top Gun” award during RTU at Luke AFB, in 1968. He then went on to fly the F-100 with the 531st Tactical Fighter Squadron/3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, Bien Hoa AB, Vietnam from June 1968 to May 1969.
