After Retiring from the USAF in 1983, Chuck worked as a Test Design Engineer for Veda Corp. Veratech, Ball Systems, at Nellis AFB, Nevada until 1988.  From 1988-1989 he was a Flight Test Engineer at Computer Sciences Corp located at Edwards AFB, California, (1988 – 1989) and from 1989-2000 as the Flight Test Engineering/Operations Manager.
