20 September 1965 – Capt J. Reynes was on a mission to discover the whereabouts of enemy troops. His F-100 was hit and Reynes ejected. He was recovered uninjured.

Art Farrington flew the F-100 from 1964-1967 with the 612th Tactical Fighter Squadron & 615th Tactical Fighter Squadron. He was assigned to England AFB, LA, Danang AB, Vietnam, Takhli AB, Thailand, and Phan Rang AB, Vietnam.
Then from 1967-1970, Art flew the F-100 with the 356th Tactical Fighter Squadron out of Misawa AB, Japan.
