Frank loyally served our country for 20 years, during the Cuban Missle Crisis and Vietnam War, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Purple Heart. He retired as a Space Shuttle Payload Manager from KSC after 20 years.

Francesco P. “Frank” Frulio, Maj USAF, Ret., “Headed West” on July 23, 2011.

Major Francesco “Frank” Paul Frulio of Viera, Melbourne, FL died after a long battle with leukemia. Frank loyally served our country for 20 years, during the Cuban Missle Crisis and Vietnam War, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Purple Heart. He retired as a Space Shuttle Payload Manager from KSC after 20 years. Frank is survived by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine “Gerry” Frulio; four children; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister.

Frank was loyal to and passionately loved God, family, friends and Country. He touched countless lives and will be missed by all.

A Mass of the Resurrection [was held on] Saturday, July 30, 2011 at St John the Evangelist Catholic Community in Viera, FL. Major Francesco Paul Frulio, US Airforce, Retired, will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia with full military honors.

Instead of flowers, Frank’s wishes were for any donations to be made in his name to St John the Evangelist Catholic Community, 5655 Stadium Parkway, Melbourne, Florida 32940 for the new church. You may sign Frank’s guest book at www.beckmanwilliamson.com

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on July 30, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community in Viera. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach, FL is serving the family. Published in FLORIDA TODAY on July 27, 2011
