Pilot Information

Prior to his retirement, Brigadier General Clarence J. “CJ” Hindman was the chief of staff at Headquarters, Arizona Air National Guard in Phoenix, AZ. He served as principal advisor to the assistant adjutant general for air, relating to state headquarters staff functions and activities. He also provided general direction to the headquarters staff.

He began his military career by joining the United States Air Force while in medical school. After his internship he served for three years on active duty as a flight surgeon. After a break in service he joined the Arizona Air National Guard in 1989.

He is currently a practicing physician in Oro Valley, CA.
