Biography
Pilot Information

After entering the Air Force as an Aviation Cadet and completing training (Class 57-C) at Spence AFB, GA and Laughlin AFB, Texas I was assigned to Williams AFB in Arizona for gunnery in the F-86F. What a joy flying the F-86 Sabre.

From Williams AFB to Nellis AFB to check out in the F-100A prior to joining an operational squadron the 417th Fighter Bomber Squadron of the 50th TFW at Toule Rosieres AB France.

Here I was privileged to fly the F-86H another great Sabre. Later assignments were to units flying the F-100D, the F-105B, and the F-4D, But the favorite was always the F-86 Sabre.(1)
