“In 1964, I completed my tour with the 20th TFW and returned to Rochester, NY.

In 1966 I was recruited into the NYANG 107th TFG (F-100) by the Guard advisor, “Bud” Day THE American Patriot and friend for life as are many others I have flown in formation with.

In 1971, the Guard converted to F-101’s and to an Air Defense mission. I didn’t feel like running radar intercepts in the sky, so I went home.”
