George Kinnison served in World War II on a Submarine and in the Korean War as an Air Force pilot. It has been said that George “spent 30 years as a Test Pilot for North American Aviation in the US Astronaut Program, flying and testing everything that flew in our Air Force”.(1)

“As a Test Pilot for North American Aviation, I am the only pilot to fly all seven production models of the F-86 Sabre Set in one day – May 29, 1957”
