Bob Kruse flew the F-100 from 1965-1966 with the 524th Tactical Fighter Squadron/24th Tactical Fighter Wing, out of Cannon AFB, NM, and in 1967  with the 416th Tactical Fighter Squadron/3rd Tactical Fighter Wing, Bien Hoa AB Vietnam. In 1967 he gain flew with the 416th Tactical Fighter Squadron, out of Phu Cat AB, Vietnam.

Bob flew over 200 missions in Vietnam.
