“During my career with Northwest Airlines, I flew the B-707, B727, B757, and B747 retiring in 1992 at our Honolulu base. I flew additional CRAF (military charter flights) from New York-Frankfurt-Saudi Arabia transporting troops near the end of Desert Storm.”

    Rejoined Air Force (Reserves) Trained on the C-141 at Altus AFB. Flew monthly missions from McChord to Vietnam with staging from Yokota AB, Kadena AB, Clark AB, Anderson AFB, Wake Island, and Elmendorf AFB. Flew cargo/personnel/munitions into Da Nang, Phu Cat, Peiku, Tuy Hoa, Cam Ranh, and Tan Son Nhut. Also flew regular troop delivery/extraction flights under CRAF with Northwest Airlines B-707’s to Cam Rahn, Ben Hoa, and Tan Son Nhut.Post Vietnam, I flew C-141 missions mainly from McChord to Alaska and the Aleutian Islands with a main support role at Adak and Shemya, along with occasional missions to Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
