LT. COL. WILLIAM MALLOY U.S. Air Force, Retired. Lt. Col. William M. “Bill” Malloy, a long-time resident of Las Vegas and Henderson, flew west, May 19, 2013. Bill joined Patrick, his son who entered Heaven in 2005.

Bill was born June 8, 1935, in Sault St. Marie, Mich., to William and Sara Malloy. Bill was a decorated U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and proudly served his country for over 23 years. Bill enjoyed family, friends and golfing. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; sons, Michael, Robert, Thomas and three grandchildren, Kymber, Maxwell and Brendan; daughter-in-law, Cheryl; his brother, Terence; and sister, Kathy, both of Michigan; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Please keep us in your prayers for our continued strength. Those of us who knew Bill, we will miss that naughty Irish wit and laughter.

Private memorial services with full military honors were previously held Saturday, May 25, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 130 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.  If you wish to memorialize Bill’s life, the family suggests The Salvation Army Celebration of Life, P.O.
