“An only child, Karl grew up in Iowa, but was a proud alumni of Missouri Military Academy (MMA). After attending Drake University, Karl McCulloch joined the United States Air Force in 1954 and retired in 1975. The McCulloch family were stationed in Mississippi, Texas, France, England, Arizona, Vietnam, Germany and Colorado. During his time in Germany, Karl earned his Masters Degree and pursued teaching after the military.

Flying the F-100 was one of Karl’s greatest joys and achievements.”

Karl M. McCulloch “Headed West” on October 29, 2021.

Karl Madden McCulloch passed away October 29, 2021 from an extended illness. Karl was preceeded in death by wife, Donna Mae Seiberling McCulloch. Karl leaves behind: sons Douglas, Mark and Brian McCulloch; daughter Kimberly Hawk and grandchilldren Mariko, Cheryl, Michelle, Rachel, Connor and Molly.

An only child, Karl grew up in Iowa, but was a proud alumni of Missouri Military Academy (MMA). After attending Drake University, Karl McCulloch joined the United States Air Force in 1954 and retired in 1975. The McCulloch family were stationed in Mississippi, Texas, France, England, Arizona, Vietnam, Germany and Colorado. During his time in Germany, Karl earned his Masters Degree and pursued teaching after the military. Flying the F-100 was one of Karl’s greatest joys and achievements.

Karl later started working at Stapleton Airport and he and Donna continued traveling. Upon retiring, Karl and Donna continued their love of travel by buying a 5th wheel and traveling the western United States. Devoted Christians, they supported their local church wherever they lived including youth ministry; small groups; Stephen Ministry; BSF and more. They also were members of a local camping group The Rolling Renegades.

Karl and Donna’s cremated remains will be jointly buried on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at 1:15, Section C with military honors.
