Jed McEntee flew the F-100 with the 353rd TFS at Myrtle Beach from 1957-1959. He retired from the USAF in 1985. In 1986 he began working as a Flight Simulator instructor for pilot training on the 727, DC-10, 757 & 767 where he remained until January of 2007.

He currently enjoys working for himself as “Jervis Computer” where he designs PowerPoint presentations for family and friends.

Jervis “Jed” McEntee, Col USAF, Ret., “Headed West” on January 17, 2022.

Jed entered the USAF in 1955 after completing a BS in Economics at Ohio State University. He served for 35 years, ending his career as commander of the 507th Tactical Fighter Wing in 1985.

In his career he flew the T-33, F-84F, F-100 C/D/F, F-105 B/D/F, F-4D with 5,000 flight hours.

In 1986 he began working as a Flight Simulator instructor for pilot training on the 727, DC-10, 757 & 767 where he remained until January of 2007. Jed then went on to start “Jervis Computer” where he designs PowerPoint presentations for family and friends. He would say he ‘enjoyed working for himself”.

His family held a Celebration of Life for him on Saturday, 3 Sep 2022.
