Darwin Puls flew the F-100 C/D/F from pilot training in 1965 to retirement in 1979 and never went non-current.

After retiring from the USAF, Darwin flew with Delta Airlines from 1970-2000, where he flew the  L-100, CV-880, DC-8, B-727, B-757, B-767, B-767ER, and MD-11.
