Ron Doughty retired as a Major from the USAF. He is very active in chronicling the history of the 12th Tactical Fighter Wing. After retiring Ron worked from 1990-1992 as Program Manager of the Safety Division, Illinois Department of Labor, and from 1992-2002 as Health and Safety Unit Manager for the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
