Ron Siegfried “Deadsticked” an F-100 at Phan Rang with throttle linkage failure and ejected out of an F-4 on March 12, 1987

He was employed as a Commodity Broker for Merrill Lynch for several years and retired at age 60 as a B-737 Captain after flying 22 years for People Express and then Continental Airlines.
