20 September 1965 – Capt J. Reynes was on a mission to discover the whereabouts of enemy troops. His F-100 was hit and Reynes ejected. He was recovered uninjured.

Lt. U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War-Lt. Scott was shot out of the sky [by ground fire] on June 25, 1968 while piloting his F-100D (#55-3535) aircraft during close air support near Thach Khe, 10 miles southwest of Qui Nhon… He was flying out Phu Cat Airbase. Lt. Scott started his tour of Vietnam on June 2, 1968.
At the time of his death, Bob was married to his wife Patricia and had one daughter, Carolyn. (1)
Robert is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL, and is honored on the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington DC. Name inscribed at VVM Wall, Panel 55w, Line 38.
