SSS member Robert Merle Sumner, 81, of Aurora, Colorado headed west January 1, 2016. He was born January 24, 1934, in Liverpool, Ohio, the son of Robert and Rachel Sumner.
Bob flew the F-100 with 4517 CCTS,429TFS, 531 TFS, 68th TFS, 416TFS and the 103rd TFS CT ANG.
Bob is survived by his Wife, Marion Sumner; Two Granddaughters, Bobbie Jo Sumner, Kayla Sumner; Mother, Rachel Sumner. He is preceded in death by Father, Robert Sumner, Son, Robert Sumner, Brother, Johnny Sumner.
At his request, no services are planned. Private interment took place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
