“I was one of a group of six guys hijacked from Cannon to reconstitute Wheelus after the 6-day war. As a direct result, I might be one of a small handful of guys who was continually a volunteer, was qualified and current, and never got to Southeast Asia. At this point, I’m OK with that, but I was madder than hell at the time.”
