Morvan Darrell Turley - KIA
United States Air Force Captain Turley disappeared on a combat mission over Phouc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. Nine months later, the wreckage of his aircraft F-100 #56-3448 was found and Captain Turley was brought home to his family for burial on October 23, 1967.
Captain Turley is buried at Ft Leavenworth Nat Cemetery and is honored on the Vietnam Memorial Wall 14E025.
Captain Turley graduated from Westport high school and attended Metropolitan Junior College Kansas City. He was a former member of Boy Scout troop No 78 and the tribe of Mic-OSay.
