A true Cajun from New Orleans, “Mouse” first flew the Hun in Advanced Pilot Training at Nellis in Jun ‘61, moving on to
the 613th TFS at England AFB, then tom the 531st TFS at Misawa, England AFB, and finally at Bien Hoa till Nov ‘66. Then came
the airlines.(1) Vernon flew from 5/1967-5/1992  for Pan American World Airways and from 6/1992-5/2001 with Delta Airlines.
