Wendell Wilson “flew more than 300 combat missions in Vietnam. After returning stateside he trained experienced South Vietnamese fighter pilots. Upon completion of his military service, he became a Delta Airlines pilot for 33 years until his retirement in 2002.

Wendell and his wife Pat are world travelers and avid volunteers for educational organizations. The University of Houston at Clear Lake’s Office of Veteran Services honored Wendell’s service in the U.S. Air Force by renaming the office the Capt. Wendell M. Wilson Office of Veteran Services in 2014. The University also dedicated a park to Wendell and Pat.”
