“The Flight Suit Project is complete and hanging in the SSME. There are over 160 items sewn on the backing which is made of cut-up flight suits.
At the last SSS Reunion, my wife Sharon (who made the project) asked for patches (name, sq. wing, etc.) to be added to this wall hanging. All that we received, pertaining to the Super Sabre, were sewn on and then it was quilted. Below find a photo of the project as it is displayed in the SSME.”
