James Edward “Jim” Lapine, 87, retired United States Air Force Pilot and Cessna Demonstrator Pilot, died Sunday, June 11, 2023.
A Funeral Mass [was held on] Monday, June 19, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, James I. and Claire Lapine and his three older brothers. Survived by his wife of 61 years, their four children, sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with: The Lord’s Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary – West Chapel.
