3 August 1966 – 1Lt T.L. Hodges is serving with the 308th TFS out of Bien Hoa AB, Vietnam. On this day, he was flying over South Vietnam when his aircraft was hit with combat-related gunfire. He was forced to eject from F-100 #563375 and was rescued uninjured by a US Army Helo.
