9 July 1968 – Major M.K. Ryan flying F-100D #563124 out of Tuy Hoa AB with the 309TFS is hit by gunfire over SVN. He is rescued by an Army Helo and suffers minor injuries.

9 July 1970 – 1lLt G. K. Newsome “Dusty 4” with the 31TFW is flying F-100D #55357 is hit by 57mm AAA and ejects over SVN. He is rescued with minor injuries.
