David Skilling was Misty 104.
After serving in the USAF, from 1986-1987 he was an Operations Analyst at the Lockheed “Skunk Works” in Burbank, CA.
From 1987-2006 he was a pilot, instructor, check airman, and course developer for Northwest Airlines. He says he flew five different aircraft for Northwest, “But you ‘real” fighter pilots are not interested in the designation of these busses, which I couldn’t turn upside down.”
He states that the “Over ten and a half USAF years in Europe were tremendous. The rest was only wonderful. We didn’t fully appreciate the very high quality of you USAF folks until we worked after USAF. We look forward to seeing you F-100 buddies at the reunions and whenever else we can.
“We” are me and current and original wife, Abby. After many various jobs in following me around on the PCS’s, she was executive assistant to several F-22 project managers at Lockheed,(Burbank, CA and then Marietta, GA) and retired from there. We’re now (2015) happily retired in Marietta, GA.”
