Major General Harry “A.J.” W. Feucht, Jr. was the Assistant Adjutant General for Air and also served as Commander, Ohio Air National Guard. He was responsible to the adjutant general for directing Air National Guard operations and establishing policy to ensure mission readiness of over 5000 personnel in four flying wings and eight support units that serve our communities, state, and nation for both homeland defense and federal missions.
General Feucht enlisted in the 178th Combat Support Squadron, Ohio Air National Guard in 1968 and was commissioned in 1969. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1971. General Feucht has served in various operations and command positions in three Ohio Air National Guard wings and one Oklahoma Air National Guard wing and has commanded the 180th Fighter Wing and the 121st Air Refueling Wing in the Ohio Air National Guard. He is a command pilot with over 4,700 total flying hours, over 4,000 in fighters, and over 700 in KC-135s.
He retired in 2011.
