Lt. Col. Richard David Fisher (USAF, Ret.), 78, of North Charleston, SC, widower of Gloria Jean Bain Fisher, entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 9, 2013.A graveside service was held Sunday, May 12, 2013 in the Dorchester Memory Gardens, Summerville, SC at 2 p.m. with Military Honors. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy., Charleston, SC.
Richard was born July 20, 1934 in Canastota, New York, son of the late Albert Fisher and Nellie Ray Fisher. He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the USAF and was a member of the Charleston Radio Control Society.
He is survived by his son, Michael Fisher (Margi) of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Sharon Fisher of Kensington, MD; sister, Mary Ramsdell of Canastota, NY; and grandchildren, Joe, Andrew, and Faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
