I flew the F-100A at Nellis AFB the late summer of 1958. (Last of fighter training). Went to George and flew the F-100 D with Chuck Yeager as squadron commander.

Richard Conrad Campbell was born on October 23, 1934 and “Headed West” on April 14, 2021. He flew the F-100 D with Chuck Yeager as squadron commander at George AFB, CA.

After leaving the Air Force, he flew for American Airlines for 28 years and retired as a full Captain qualified in the Boeing 757,767, and 747. He leaves behind a son and a daughter.
