I was born in Annapolis, MD, and now live in Star Harbor, TX (about 60 miles SE of Dallas).;

I was one of the few who managed to escape the Airlift community and stay in fighters the rest of my career. But, if you had to fly transports for a while, the Herc was at least tactical.

For sure, I never flew a fighter I didn’t like, but the 3 single-seat ones were the most fun.
