Jervis “Jed” McEntee “Headed West” on February 17, 2022.
Jed entered the USAF in 1955 after completing a BS in Economics at Ohio State University. He served for 35 years, ending his career as commander of the 507th Tactical Fighter Wing in 1985.
In his career he flew the T-33, F-84F, F-100 C/D/F, F-105 B/D/F, F-4D with 5,000 flight hours.
In 1986 he began working as a Flight Simulator instructor for pilot training on the 727, DC-10, 757 & 767 where he remained until January of 2007. Jed then went on to start “Jervis Computer” where he designs PowerPoint presentations for family and friends. He would say he ‘enjoyed working for himself”.
