Invitation to Memorial Service for MGen Ken Staten, to be held March 29, 2019 at Colorado Springs
You are cordially invited to a memorial service for my father Ken Staten (USAF Academy class of 1961) on Friday, March 29, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. The Academy is a place that meant so much to dad, shaped the man he became and the life he led. The service will start at the Memorial Pavilion located at the north end of the Academy Cemetery followed by a graveside service. Please join us for a lunch reception afterward at the Falcon Club also on the Academy campus.
We have reserved as many rooms as we could at the Rampart Lodge on the Academy campus but unfortunately, its a busy time for the Academy and we were only able to hold 11 rooms. If you want to have one of these rooms, please call Stanley, the Group Manager at the Rampart Lodge 719-472-1940 to reserve a room. Mention that you are with the Ken Staten memorial. Each room has one queen size bed and a private bath and is located just across from the Falcon Club. Room rates are very reasonable ($75/night).
