15 September 1967 – Major A.E. Munsch is serving out of Bien Hoa AB, Vietnam with the 510th TFS. On a mission over SVN, his F-100D #552904 is hit by gunfire, and Munsch is forced to eject. He is rescued by the VNAF and suffers minor injuries.
