Milton Mutchnik “began a love of flying when he joined the United States Air Force in 1969. Dr. Mutchnick spent 38 years in the Air Force, serving as a flight surgeon, a commander in the Air National Guard of Connecticut and Ohio, and eventually as special assistant to the Air National Guard Surgeon General.
As a boy, he studied the life and career of Winston Churchill. A chance encounter with Clementine Churchill in London led to an introduction to Winston Churchill, and, later, congenial relationships with the prime minister’s son and grandson.
A world traveler and sometime journalist, Dr. Mutchnick has spent time in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Aside from his clinical and teaching responsibilities, he enjoys spending time traveling with his family.” (1)
