In its early years, the Federation and its annual International Astronautical Congresses – better known as the
Jim flew the F-100 from 1960-1964 with the 10th Tactical Fighter Squadron/50th Tactical Fighter Wing, from 1965-1967 with the 57th Fighter Weapons Wing (Fighter Wing Squadron), then in 1968 with the 531st Tactical Fighter Squadron/3rd Tactical Fighter Wing.
He is survived by his wife Akiko.
