As of 31 December 2024 the Super Sabre Society will be no more. We had a good run and the stories of our F-100 pilots will live on. Jim Williford, the beloved Executive Secretary of the Super Sabre Society, “Headed West” on January 13, 2025, after a prolonged illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Cissy.
Jim entered the Air Force in 1968 and retired in 1996.
