Tunis Parsons “Headed West” on June 17, 2018, in Tucson of natural causes, at age 87. He was a traditional Guardsman with the 162d TFG, Tucson ANG. An early member of the unit, he flew the F-86, F-102, F-100A, and F-100D.
He was a University of Arizona graduate and in his professional life was a partner in a respected accounting firm. He was also a member of the “Friday Pilots,” retired Tucson military pilots who meet for lunch every Friday at a Tucson resort – information provided by Shep.
